ASIA PACIFIC OPEN PHOTOSHOOT COMPETITION
The 1ST Asia Pacific Open Photo-shoot
Competition is now open for amateur, hobbyist and professional photographers.
Pegged in the mould of the popular
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, the competition billed “THE WILD SIDE: NATURE. BEAUTY” features models
shot against the backdrop of Cavite,
Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon Province.
Big prizes are at stake for winning
photographers and models with well-known personalities sitting in the board of judges.
A two-day trade fair show with photo
exhibit and a party to cap the awards night will be held at the Airport Casino Filipino Open Grounds in Parañaque City on August 31
(Friday) and September 1, 2012 (Saturday).
The trade fair component includes a job
fair for local and OFWs, fashion show, product demos, talks and a mini-concert
featuring performances by some of the country’s premier rock bands with surprise
celebrity guest performers.
Open free to the public, the event is
expected to gather an estimated crowd ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 for each day
of the two-day event.
The beneficiaries are the dislocated
children of the ongoing C-5 road widening project at Old Balara, Tandang Sora
represented by the President of Unang Hakbang Tungo Sa Bagong Milenyo Ms.

The event is fully endorsed and
supported by Airport Casino Filipino, Cong. Edwin Olivarez , Department of
Tourism and the provincial governments of Quezon, Cavite, Rizal, Batangas and Laguna
with Villanueva Beach Resort at Alabat Island, Pinoy Zone, DZME, Lily’s , Carera Eyewear, Bongs, Tony
& Jackey and Balintataw Film & Theater Arts for stage management at the awards night.
