Tonight (Feb. 12, 10:00 P.M.) is the litmus test for colleague entertainment radio host/columnist/ talent manager Jobert Sucaldito when he transports his caboodle of multi-talented performing artist at a new venue at The Library, Metrowalk-Ortigas, a hysterical statement of his controversial falling out with good friend Lito Alejandria, one of the proprietors (from the main one Allan K.) of Zirkoh restobar at Morato strip, Q.C.
Billed “Book of Love,” Jobert’s concert at The Library features our dear Michael Pangilinan in a pre-Valentine back-to-back concert with our favorite “pambansang biritira” Prima Diva Billy with the equally powerhouse truly gifted cast of artists Duncan Ramos, Luke Mejares, Paolo Santos, Chef Anton, Token Lizares, AJ Tamiza & Le Chazz. The same “falling out” issue brings us to an intriguing question.
Will dear Jobert allow darling of the press Michael Pangilinan & Prima Diva Billy and the rest from his stable of artists to perform ever again at Zirkoh?
I pose this question given the fact that the repeat of “Movie Reporters On The Loose” by the PMPC (Phil. Movie Press Club) under Pres. Fernan De Guzman aka Miss “F” which I’m directing perpetually has in its solid cast but of course “Kilabot Ng Mga Kolehiyala” Michael P. and Prima Diva B., integral to the show’s concept for said repeat on the last week of April to get in artists-friends of PMPC to join the event.
The 24-dollar question is: Will Jobert S. allow or not allow his artists to cross the stage of Zirkoh ever again after his much-ballyhooed falling out with quondam best friend of his Lito A. ? Will he?
