ZYRUZ IMPERIAL

The caravan of 12 eco-oriented beauties & 12 dudes na pupunta this weekend sa so-called Boracay of the North sa Hannah’s Beach Resort, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte  para sa final pageant and crowning night ng search for “Hannah’s Mr. & Miss Eco-Tourism Ambassadors” are led by  iconic media mavens like Crispina Martinez-Belen, Emie Velarde, radio broadcaster/TV host Rey Langit, Phil. Tourism Gen. Manager Mark Lapid, and possibly Imee Marcos, etc. as jurors.

        Ito ay pasabog event ng Hannaha’s President/CEO  ret. Col. Alfredo Nolasco who is the Pres. of AMWSLAI (Air Material Wing Saving Loans Assoc., Inc.), also a party list  with the end goal of making winners as advocates of eco-tourism to preserve the country’s rich natural resources and diversity. Also think bikini beauty vis-à-vis national patrimony.

Hosting the event is the Cebuano PBB Grand Winner Slater Young na magbi-bikini raw through much of  the pageant. Siguradong hahaurtin siya ng mga bikini beauties. Ganun din daw ang hunk at indie actor na si Zyruz Imperial as guest singer in a “Great Gatsby” production number in which he will sing the Turtle’s version of “So Happy Together” choreographed by makeover icon  Majhie Dela Fuente. Si Zyruz ay dating band member at may regular gigs bago siya naging artista.

 Zyruz Imperial has done several lead roles for indie movies like the latest version of “Noli Me Tangere” in which he is also the musical director, “Seksing Masahista” opposite Mocha Uson, the  controversial “The Road To Ampatuan” by Director Jigz Recto and  Darryl Cruz’ “Pakawala.”

        Zyruz has appeared in important cameo roles for Cinemalaya Filmfest 2013 as lover to Cherie Pie Picache in Vilma Santos’s starrer “Ekstra;”  Emmanuel Palos’s “David F;” as lookout to Kristoffer King in “Oros;” “Dekada XXX” by Khavn Cruz  for Cinema One Originals, etc.  He is also in Tikoy Aguiluz’s “Sugo,” a monumental film about Iglesia Ni Cristo church’s founding fathers; Romy Suzara’s “Tinik” for FDCP’s Sining Pambansa Filmfest, etc.

        Ang crowning ng  Hannah’s Beach Resort Eco-Tourism Ambassadors ay sa May 25 na. Ibo-broadcast ito sa ANC (ABS-CBN) channel for two hours and will have a worldwide telecast via TFC (The Filipino Channel) by the sought after production group of  Mylene Acuna’s “Pinoy T.A.L.K.” (True Adventure Lecture Knowledge) group of Studio 23.  Saan ka pa?
